Minor Swing ; very easy ; just one chord

Here is a video to learn the gypsy jazz tube; "Minor Swing".

And it's very easy; There is only 1 position to learn. You will then be able to accompany soloists, your own improvisations or play with Django (I advise you the version of 1937 to start). You have to activate the subtitles.

Here is the principal position (Am6)

e|--------------------------
B|--------------------------
G|-------5------------------
D|-------4------------------
A|-------X------------------
E|-------5------------------
If you control the principal position, you can also do (also Am6)
e|-------X------------------ B|-------5------------------ G|-------5------------------ D|-------4------------------ A|-------X------------------ E|-------5------------------

Awesome! I'm suprised by the simplicity of the chord positions. Getting the sound right is the hard part though; the trick is to mute the strings properly, at least that is what worked for me .Great video, I'd love to see some more!

great lesson! thank you pierre!! agree with joseph, the hardest part is to mute the strings correctly to get a cleaner sound.

Thanks for your feedbacks. Both hands are difficult. You can work just with the left hand ; take a chord and try to jump with your fingers and keep them in the position of the chord.... I should make a video, i think...
