This is a very helpful page for learning the minor pentatonic scale for guitar.

The images below covers all the minor pentatonic scale patterns in all positions on guitar. You can easily pass one position to other and practice all the minor pentatonic scale guitar positions using this page. The sample scale is given in G and all the red notes refers to the root note.

You can practice these minor pentatonic scale box patterns just shifting the position (using a different root note). We recommend you to memorize this box patterns in string and position pairs like 3th position-root is on A string, and so on.
