Abstract:
A lot of beginners have absolutely no clue on how chord progressions are formed, or any of the theory behind them. Luckily for you, I am going to show you an easy way to construct chord progressions, that requires minimal theory or heavy duty music knowledge.

I got a request to do a lesson on scales, and I figured the most common scales (other than basic major and minor) were the pentatonic scales. This lesson will look at the major pentatonic scale and the minor pentatonic scale.

Today, I’m going to do another theory lesson, just like my Major vs. Minor lesson. But this lesson will also incorporate a bit of basic ear training! It is about music intervals.

Abstract:
Imagine if you could use just two chords to play EVERY chord of that kind. Imagine if an E major could turn into a G major, or an A minor into a C# minor, with NO CHORD CHART MEMORIZATION! Well, my friends, this is possible, thanks to BARRE CHORDS! Written by Chris Daley.

This lesson is on finger-picking and arpeggios, a favorite topic of mine. I won’t get too in-depth though, I’ll just scratch the surface of this subject. This lesson will teach you how to make basic chord progressions more interesting by finger-picking individual notes, as well as introduce the basic major and minor arpeggios.

Abstract:
This lesson will outline how to tune your guitar to a standard E A D G B E tuning. As a general rule, tightening a string creates more tension. This gives the string a higher pitch and goes higher in tune. Likewise with loosening your strings, the pitch goes down.
